I recently upgraded my Firefox to the latest version, 3.6.10. I also upgraded Adobe Flash Player to which I believe is version 10.1. This seems to have created a problem with being able to view videos on Youtube. I have seen where others have had this problem and not been able to solve it. Has anyone here experienced this problem and overcome it? If you have would you be so kind as to explain how. Thanks in advance.

I had to switch back to Explorer because of the same problem. That is the only work-around that I have found so far.

I had a ghost in my machine because of Adobe Flash Player last week.

Microsoft was saying google update was a trojan.

Avira, superantispyware and antimaleware did not find anything

Firefox updated twice in the last few days and Adobe did an update yesterday and it is working again.

:-S

Flash player presents a major security hole. Adobe/Macromedia doesn't make any money on it, and it appears that they don't have sufficient incentive to maintain the security of the application.

HTML5, anyone? (Oh, yeah, that pesky codec problem...)

I uninstalled both Flash and Firefox and re-installed them. No luck. I installed Internet Explorer 8, still no luck. I installed Google Chrome and Youtube plays in that environment. Go figure. Anyway, thanks again to those who at least helped my grey matter get going.:-)

Robert, there are many programs that are written Microsoft compliant and this is done so that Firefox can not operate all their functions. My work around is that Firefox have installed a button under tools to open program under IE by "always view in IE" Once pressed for that program on subsequent pressing toolbar shortcut icon in Firefox program will always auto open in IE

All our state government internet access programs ALL have at least one feature FUNCTION that does not work under Firefox .
