Below will be a link to an article about residents (and maybe the city of Hollywood) got the directions changed to access the HOLLYWOOD sign. It went so far as to say that a group associated with the sign asked Google to change the GPS coordinates of the sign. Take a read, the author asks so decent questions at the end of the article.
