I saw the program about the development of the computer on a PBS special last week. Very interesting. Building a computer to play jeopardy is must more complicated than the Deep Blue IBM computer that beat chess champion Gary Fischer.
Jeopardy clues are filled with puns, double meanings and humor, all tough things for a computer to understand.
