Profiling is just the beginning of things. The new troopers study their area and have a list of prior violators on a shopping list of possible fines to divvy out. They are predators with a badge. Their computers system will scan the tags and stickers on your vehicle and notify them of your status on their list before you have stopped.

The Texas without seat belt fine is about $180. That multiplies with kids not restrained correctly.

When you invoke your right to not talk, they make you do stupid human tricks a few feet from traffic.

If they suspect you of being under the influence, pray that you pass the breathalyzer or they will take a blood sample then and there. Say no and it is an admission of guilt, go directly to jail.

Same goes on the water in your boat.

Having a good day keeps getting harder all the time.

Derek

that one is pretty universal.

When I use the right turn signal on my crew cab truck with giant blind spot I think the other drivers take it to mean "Pass on the right." I was trying to get over into the right lane so I could get off the freeway and I planned to go behind the lifted truck who insisted on driving with his nose at my right rear quarter panel he went by and I started moving over when I looked over and some idiot in a Nissan pickup had zoomed up right behind the lifted truck. I gave him a long blast of the horn.

HaHa ! Paid my $25 several years ago ... along with the "other" ticket!
I drove one block (from stop light to stop light) and got an "excessive speed" ticket.
Guess I wasn't (or was) looking too cute that day ... or maybe it was my remark about donuts ... (It was April, cold, he was on a motor cycle ... there WERE warmer places to be!) Well ... after paying both tickets, some odd bookkeeping error occurred and "They" were kind enough to call me at work and advise me that a "warrant had been issued for my arrest". So I went to court (where the Judge yelled at me to get my elbows off his desk) and the charges were dismissed.

I've had a lot of fun in life ... glad I can laugh at this now.

Congrats Dave ... Way to stimulate the economy !
