It looks 'bumpy' up in your woods.
The wind came around to 310 at about six or seven this evening. I bet it dropped 25 degrees in an hour.
That red spot up at Coffeeville? That's a methane blast from The Cow!! Saw the weather coming and let it rip. BAD COW!! :-X
No big deal, YET
That little bump pretty much missed us. Rained a bit, then moved out.
Located about 4 miles south of the gap between the U and T in Chanute on your map.
There's one heck of a line from Texas to Nebraska going through Wichita now. Many times those really long, skinny lines represent powerful winds and heavy rains for about 2.04 minutes that topple trees and turn trailers into trailer trash.
Did not know anyone noticed
There was a massive methane blast here a few minutes ago as I was getting out of my easy chair. Mrs. Cow is asleep, so I thought I was the only one who knew it happened. My, oh my, that felt, soooooooooo good.
Despite the radar picking up on that blast, it mislocated it by quite a few miles.
BTW, that is Coffeyville with a Y not two E's. Just like Coffey County about 100 miles further to the north.
80 degrees and windy in Newark, NJ yesterday.
Definitely climate change at work!
"Rain Day"
Guess we won't be getting any wood in the ground this morning:
32 degrees with a stiff wind..what a mess.
"Rain Day"
100 percent chance of rain. Duh! It's raining right now and will continue most of the day.
