last week Mrs. File and I had a mtg with some folks, then she suggested we go out for lunch at Cafe' Max- (2 bowl and a roll specials- $6.48- 'cause she got a gluten free roll) after that she thought we should go to the Toggery next door and look for some shoes for our trip. - The Toggery's main store is in Whitefish. and one of my cardinal rules of life is friends don't let friends spend money in Whitefish.... suffice it to say- I'd never spent a dime in The Toggery in the past.... anyway... I was looking for something comfortable- light weight, easy to manage thru the airports, and would support my feet for walking all day in Europe.
Looked at some merrils, but they all seemed too tight.

Definitely a walker/ light hiker shoe- Not tall enough for even really getting out in tall grass, let alone any brush. some fellow employees would probably call them "pissinslippers"
Comfy feet at the end of the day.....
