Neil-

Welcome to a great resource and a nice bunch of fellow surveyors.

If my typing accent sounds Canadian and it looks like I use the letter 'U', your right !

I'm a Canadian but don't drink the bilge water Molson's puts together.

I too, started surveying with my grandfather W. S. Gibson at age 5 when the politically correctness of allowing a kid to learn how to work was alive and well.

There are rumo(u)rs (see there's a 'U' !)that the reason he had me holding onto the end of the chain was because I was warm and stupid, so I qualified.

I still have those two attributes !

Ask SWMBO.

Cheers,

Derek

Neil ? Hope To Take The PA PLS This Fall ?

Since you are a PE, I assume you have a BS CE.

I also assume you have already applied to the PA Board.

When had you taken the FS exam?

What is your survey education/experience?

Are you also a PE in WV?

Paul in PA, PE, PLS

Another P.E., L.S. here. And it's not in Civil.

I must warn you that based on one-quarter of my ancestry having been in West Virginia since about 1740, and the fact that they had huge families, that I must be related to most everyone else with similar West Virginia ancestry.
