I know you are not older than dirt... but you must be getting close.

Have a great day!

Happy birthday......remember, age is an issue of mind over matter.

If you don't mind, it doesn't matter.

Happy Rocktober Tom!

this is the best vid available.
You are a little less than a fortnight off your celebration greeting, but carry on. 😉

Definitely a big one and I have requested black balloons to fly away if anyone was listening.
I already got myself my big gift a few weeks ago. Some portable soccer goals so that we can play wherever we go.
Also going to B-Day feast at my Italian soccer friend's bistro in Mandeville. Yum.

Getting ready to leave now. Parish Fair parade today and the kids are off school and the parade does perambulate the office. So I am walking home to watch it with the neighborhood kids and friends.
All is well and I hope all is well there.

Happy Rocktober Tom!

My Dear Mr. Hill: your profile on Plaxo, which sent me the reminder of your date of birth, says that it is the first of October.

Please adjust your date of birth to match what is out on the internet cloud.

Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

Happy Rocktober Tom!

Sorry Tom, I never did Plaxo and I am get those email from them from a few people that I know using Plaxo including you that I usually ignore.
Back from the parade, extremely Mayberryish as usual.
Son got a sword and some beads and some sugar treats.
The end of the parade had all the politicians politicking.
One of the mayor candidates came out and personally shook my hand. In August, I appeared before the Council on a planning issue which was locally televised. I had the ' line' of the night that was quoted in the local press. and this candidate has been schmoozing me since.
Also in the parade were the Lt. Gov candidates.
One is a very well known country singer. If he is related to Doug Kershaw , I may vote for him.
The other is an attorney who Billy Boy Clinton enjoys squeezing. She tossed candy to the kids. She was pretty nice 'eye candy' also, so it is going to be tough decision for my vote.

It is tough being an Independent voter in these trying times.;-)

Happy Rocktober Tom!

glad you and your son had fun at the parade.
My kids always enjoyed the Soulard Mardi Gras parade when they were little and before the parade got huge....

As much as I liked Doug Kershaw...I would advise you to vote for the better looking one.

I bet Billy Boy does endorse her!

I am out of here...taking this beautiful fall afternoon OFF>>>>>

Happy Rocktober Tom!

I'm off to get my oil changed myself.
take care.
I like the country guy for Lt Gov. It would be a good position for him.
I think she should run for congress myself for the N.O district.
Looks like she is just 'stepping stoning' for it by this race.

In Your Neck of the Woods This Week

Interviewing for a job with the big B, decided not. Between my acrophobia and their tight pursestrings, just didn't work out.

I've noticed Dave Matthews manages to find the best parties and interject himself into the fun, saw he brought Rashawn Ross with him.

PL
They just finished a major street job here but hey are all over SE LA doing stuff as usual if you are talking about who I think that you are talking about.
There is big stuff going on in the city and the marshes.

Dave Matthews keeps a house up by Audubon Park.
That was Kermit Ruffins and Troy Andrews (Trombone Shorty) putting the N'awlins touch on the tune.

Love those guys, listening to some old Crash as we speak.

Yeah, I'll discount my services to mom and pop operations trying to keep the doors open in this economy, but damned if I'll give it away to 10 figure grossing heavy industry.
