I think Keith Jackson said he was from somewhere around Tallapoosa, Georgia which is along I-20 near the Alabama line. He recalled seeing baseball games at Rickwood Field in Birmingham which now is the oldest baseball park standing in the nation.
During Alabama's pregame video, that play gets a louder cheer than the one with Coach Bryant saying "I ain't nothing but a winner".
