I saw Green Day, Blink 182 and Jimmy Eat World at the Tacoma Dome a while back. Blink 182 was the headliner and they absolutely sucked, which was fine because we were there to see Green Day.
Green Day was awesome and were obviously pros at playing live. I was really impressed... Jimmy Eat World sounded great, too. I think we left halfway through Blink 182 because they were either f-ed up or were just a studio band.
I never understood the big deal about Blink-182.
Took the wife and kids to a Green Day concert about two years ago, in New Orleans.
With all honesty, it was one of the best shows I have ever seen, and I have seen Elvis in concert, 1972.
