I'm making a quicky trip to the Denver area this afternoon and was looking for some good chow and brew in Denver. Any suggestions? maybe in LODO?

We visited on our ballpark tour in 2009 and there were some nice restaurants along Blake Street, west of Coors Field.

Or any number of places along the 16th Street Mall.

If you want a fancier sit-down, Brown's Hotel, in the State Capitol area. Our hotel (Monaco) at17th and Champa had a nice restaurant as well.

If you are down near Cherry Creek, Cherry Cricket on 2nd and Columbine for burgers and beer.

If you are into microbrews and craft brewing, there are lots of brewpubs. I'll be hitting Wynkoop shortly...

thanks!

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. We'll probably catch up with my son after I take care of some binuz. I'll bet he's been to the Tilted Kilt...I'll blame it on him and tell Money Penny "I didn't know what kind of place it was...;-) "...

Anyway, thanks all, and I'm off to get my TSA grope and sniff.
