So I wake around 0200 hours and a little peckish so I go to make a grilled cheese sandwich. While the sandwich is cooking I decide to do a little programming. My cat, Moose, is laying in the chair beside me less than 2' away and is completely sound asleep.
I'm merrily programming away eating my sandwich and out of the blue he lets out this nasty loud growl. I look over at him and he's still sound asleep but his paws are twitching like flippers.
I about died laughing. Funnier thing is I have never ever heard him growl at anything or anyone since the day he was born.
A few minutes later he makes a usual noise and I look over at him and he's awake looking around like "what the f...". Too funny.
Back to sleep now......

As the fall nip in the air hits, my dogs are up all night, making noises.
I love it.
