I have a condenser drain from my A/C that exits the house through the stem wall. There it drips onto a very healthy (and happy) wild rose bush. About every other time I mow I usually check the drain pipe (particularly in humid weather) to make sure it's draining.
I did that a week or so ago and it didn't seem to be dripping. Just to make sure there wasn't anything clogging it I grabbed a stick laying nearby and tried to poke it into the pipe...the stick resisted with ardent passion. I had picked up a walking stick about 7 inches long. He wanted no part of being crammed into a copper pipe.
I sang "Born Free" as I let him return to the wild...;)
This guy was about 3-4" long. I poked him to get him moving along. His movements were animated like. I dunno. Maybe I poked him a little hard. I didn't think I did...
