The number of active foreclosures in the Denver Metro area is nearly 10,000 in number.
The majority of these properties have not yet hit the market as "for sale" and supposedly twice that number that banks have yet to take over.
The average number of sales in this market is approximately 3,000
Supply and Demand will have its' day.
It's going to take a long time for this market to equalize.
Bank of America announced Friday that they are suspending forclosures in all 50 states until they take care of a document review problem. Maybe this will give some people a little breathing room.
