Looks like your star running back may be suspended for the season. That does not bode well for Mizzou.

And Georgia needs to get the season started while they still have enough people to field a team. They suspended another starter for the first game this week. They are having some real issues off the field.

It appears that a lot of teams, including my Pokes, are having trouble with kids this year. There are so many young people that would love to be talented enough to play college ball it boggles the mind that the ones that do get the opportunity are having these sorts of mental lapses of judgement.

The colleges spend a lot of time counseling and giving these kids training on who not to talk to and what is not allowed. But still some just cannot resist the temptation.

Randy.

Your Horns look pretty good this year. It sounds like they are going to do a lot more running this year.

My Pokes have suffered a few losses in players already so I'm not sure just how good a team we will field this year. We do have one very strong DE that is a front runner for the Lombardi trophy.

Them Sooners though have already started their petition for the National Championship. Sigh....

Randy,

Any idea what time/day these things have to be submitted? When does ESPN lockout choices?

I sure wish the Thursday Marshall-Ohio State, and the Monday VA Tech-Boise State games were on there... but, oh well.

"d. Lock-time. Entry selections will lock at the scheduled start time of the first selected U.S. college football Saturday game of each week. Entrants must make sure their weekly picks are submitted by this lock-time. Selections submitted after the lock-time are considered invalid, and no points will be received."

We have 18 now. Two more days to get registered and to make your picks.

And today is Randy Hambrights Birthday. SALUTE!

I've been inventorying my OSU flags for the yard this year. I suppose you have taken stock of your Horn flags as well. Treat yourself today and go get yourself a few more!

We have 21 now with only a day and change left to register. Lots of injuries and suspensions this week in the college ranks to make you think about reconsidering some choices. Maybe?

Thanks Blake. Let's kick this season off the right way.

Pokes win over Washington State.

Utah win over the Sooners.

Oh boy..I love that smack talk. 🙂
