"The core of a nuclear reactor damaged by Friday’s massive earthquake has partially melted, Japan’s nuclear safety agency said Saturday, and the company that runs the plant is pouring seawater into the reactor in an attempt to cool it and prevent it from going critical."

Those are not my words, they come from Japan’s nuclear safety agency.

The facility was built in a Earthquate/Tsunami area. The earthquake knocked out the primary and backup systems. They are fortunate that the tsunami did not also hit the plant, taking out all the support facilities, because then it would be a multiple reactor meltdown. That story is nowhere near over yet.

Not much real news is actually coming out of Japan yet. An early mention was of 4 trains that were missing. I take it as long as they don't find them, there is no further concern to say more.

As Of Now, 3 Reactors Have Failed Cooling Systems

The Japanese are treating 160 people for exposure to radiation.

The Japanese nuclear experts are thinking "Meltdown".

I can't believe how inept the media coverage of this event is!!!! There must be some plot to keep us in the dark about how serious this is...look at the flimsy photos of the nuke blowin' its top, then they say it didn't release much, only "worrisome", they just don't have a clue is what is worrisome!!! Can you say jet stream!!!! They are supposedly tryin' to pour sea water on the reactors to cool them down, and where does all that water go back to.
