but this has gone on so long like this that I'm really starting to worry about the future of those folks who live along the gulf coast. This site has feeds to supposedly live cams of the leak BP is allowing the public to see:
http://realitycheck.no-ip.info/BP-List.htm

The Skandi ROV 2 and Enterprise ROV 1 basically show you all you need to see right now. The other feeds are hit and miss as to whether they're active or not.

This top hat thing has been very unstable since Alex came through. That's a LOT of oil escaping the BOP. The white stuff is the corexit dispersant. There's a LOT of that being released as well. Hope you all down that way are staying aware of this situation. If this keeps up many more of us in the SE might be looking at some dire straights down the road. Not trying to be an alarmist, but I hope we're all seeking out other media sources regarding this situation besides the MSM and the government.

Take care,
Ed

Keith, I'm sorry that happened for you, but these kind of things I don't know so much about. I found the site a week or so ago and haven't had any problems with it.

There are several other sites around with the same cam feeds. All the rest of them want me to download Windows Media Player as an add on. I already have it, why should I add it?

Anyway, to me, the video they are showing is disturbing. There has always been oil leaking from the ocean floor in the gulf, but this blowout has been out of control for a minute now with no 'quick fix' imminent.

I just hope folks in the affected areas stay as best informed as possible.

Take care,
Ed
