Yep
Being on a constant link to my computer with remote desktop was a major drain on both data plans. At first I thought it a good thing, now I don't use it anymore because of the waste of data usage.
My 5yr old daughter can wipe out a data plan in a weekend watching Dora on YouTube. I filled a microSD card with Dora shows on an old phone and on a thumb drive for the TV and that has helped with that problem.
TubeMate has helped SWMBO because she watches the same videos over and over.
Upgrades makes for most of my share.

I would recommend this for anyone using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Many of these apps allow for videos to automatically play once loaded, even if you do not tap on the video. If you start scrolling through Facebook and there was a video coming up and you do not kill the app, it will play regardless.
In most apps there is a feature to turn this off, but it typically is on by default.
