I have this theory, that SOMEBODY has sneaked into my house, and found all my books, and SHRUNK THE PRINT.
I don't know how they did it. Or when, but it has been in the last several years.
Reading glasses, are now a part of my life.
Data collector makers, need to think about a bit larger screen. (or did "They" shrink the screens too?)
Never thought I'd ever wear glasses.

I worked with a guy that would look at maps or read something, and he would hold the thing a foot away from his eyes, and squint. We all figured he was half=blind, but just didn't want glasses. At one point he had to go in to renew his driver's license and he came back and complained that he didn't pass the eye test. He swore that they probably made it a lot harder to see. It was then that I realized that he had no idea that he was as blind as I think he was.
By the way, everyone tends to move more far-sighted as they grow older. Many near-sighted people will start to be able to see farther. As I understand it a new layer grows over your lense on the outside of your eyes every year: kind of like tree rings. I grew up very nearsighted, and now, after lasik surgery, I'm happy to only need reading glasses occasionally.

Nate,
You should check out the new Tesla collector from Topcon. The screen is HUGE. Two times the size of the FC2000 series collector.
I have not had time to really work with the Magnet software in depth yet, but the Tesla collector is nice. It has the pop up screen keyboard which I was not sure I would like - I Like!! The screen is visible even with sunglasses on. So far I have not gotten a viewing angle that I could not read the screen out in the sunlight. Good battery life and feels really solidly made.
