Had to put this under education because I am about to SCHOOL y'all on how to pick em.

Seriously though, it is almost that time and if we want to set up a pick em league there are options.

Yahoo

Sports illustrated

Fox Sports

CBS

and ESPN

all have free leagues. Any thoughts , preferences, comments on any of these?

Sam did not look bad last night. They sure hammered him though. They need to fix the line or he will not survive long. I thought he looked pretty poised.

Bradford had a target painted on his jersey for sure. Tebow is next on the list for target practice.

This year the Horns have some new places to pillage and new visitors to send on that long silent ride home.

See everyone there.

count me in but prefer anything but Yahoo. the other sites I don't think require you to create an account(?) At any rate, I don't need or want another email provider account.

My vote would go to ESPN. I've used it for several different sports and like it's layout on the games. Plus that is a site I normally check anyway for the latest during the season.

How are your Horns shaping up?

My Pokes are already having troubles with the kids. Two got arrested last weekend for a bar fight. Team mates and with each other no less. Sheesh. One hit the other with a beer bottle and broke his eye socket. Gundy will likely kick one off the team and maybe both. He just does not tolerate that from his athletes. I give him high marks for that.

Kinda sad this year seeing some teams play for likely the last time as Colorado leaves and Nebraska prepares to leave.

my alma maters wisconsin and lsu are in top 20, wisinconson being higher than LSU..

Interesting how the sports politics work. If LSU ends up at 16 where it is now (and third to last in SEC) they will be trying to fire coach. If Wisconsin ends up at 12 they celebrate. I say look for LSU coach to be GONE.

Please do not send Les Smiles back to Oklahoma. We did not put return postage on him.

This guy is ready.
Personally, I think the Lazy Boy sofa clashes a little
🙂

TigerDroppings is a good barometer site for what is going on and what is to happen in Tiger Country.

Very nice man cave devoted to LSU. I approve but like you the sofa clashed. Maybe it was the Minnie Pearl style of leaving the tags on it that drew my attention to it. 🙂

The devil is in the details.

Speaking of caves, this summer when I went to the PMAC for a soccer function across from Tiger Stadium.
I noticed Mike the Tiger had some very nice crib also.

Pretty nice but the old place was just about the size of my house for a Tiger. Somehow that seems very small for a Tigger to roam. (like tigger in winnie the poo)

15,000 sq ft is much better but I still sorta wonder if he can stretch his legs.

I'm sure that he is treated like a king but a king in a cage it seems. Maybe they should let him roam the opposing teams locker room or something to let him be a big cat like he is. Beautiful animal though.

My fears are with another suck season under Rich Rod (probably a given), and UofM getting a hard-on for Les if he all of a sudden is available.

Hey Deral,

Lots of talent, some older, some new kids.

The defense should shake out to be one of the best in many years, but the offense is suspect at this point.

Our new QB is a key point, but if the running game does not shape up, we are in trouble this year.

Gilbert has talent beyond a coaches dream and he grew up in my neck of the woods. I saw him play a couple of times in high school.

Who knows, but I am more than ready to get it going.

Alabama probably will help LSU in their decision to keep Les Miles when they play the Tigers in Baton Rouge this November.

Everyone should watch Alabama All Access when it airs this Wednesdaay at 7 pm ET on ESPNU or Thursday at 8 pm ET on ESPN (there are later airings both nights). There were 5 30 minuite programs last week which have been edited into a one hour program. They have scenes from practices and team meetings that are quite entertaining. Nick Saban has a sense of humor after all!;-)
