Getting ready to head down and see them off. They pulled in last night and are about halfway done with the coast to coast run. All motorcycles and none newer than 1916. Most look like bicycles with motors and there was a flurry of activity when they arrived. Lot's of repairs being made and one had his frame welded on the spot by a local welder.
Interesting that Cannonball is named after famed Erwin "Cannonball" Baker who made the ride on a 1914 Indian to prove his mettle and that of the Indian motorcycle.
Should be fun this morning.

This was a nice example of an early Indian.
Several rolling shops along with the bikes that could rebuild one on the spot. Which several have had to do along the way so far from listening in this morning.
Tons of motor coaches and lots of support staff.
