A left-handed 48-inch pipe wrench should get the job done with no big problem.
Ok Derek ... I have to ask

In case it takes Derek a bit to get back, here you go............
SWMBO = she who must be obeyed
TNAI = the North Aboyne Irregular (referring to his home and the fact that he is a bit odd)
EMWTKASAP = Enquiring minds would like to know as soon as possible (note the British use of E instead of I)
YOS = Ye olde surveyor.....I think

Mon Cher Ami Christof-
The use of short form or acronyms on the "Previous Board" was encouraged by young Kent McMillan and The North Aboyne Irregular (TNAI) ..........
This comes partly from geography and partly from being accused of seeing things a bit differently (irregularly)at times ..........
'Aboyne' is a place in Scotland that was used to name a small hamlet between Fergus and Elora in Ontario.
The farm south of us is called "Aboyne".
Previous to our moving here this farm was "Maple Bend Farm" as the road we front on Colborne Street has an "S" or 'bend' in it.
The maple trees along the road are about 100+ years old and have lived their life to a point they are dying of old age and we are replanting new ones.
Thus a new name was needed.
Being of original thought (Not !) I (and She Who Must Be Obeyed, SWMBO)decided on being original and calling our "money pit" (farm) "North Aboyne Farm".
Do not apologize for your English.
It is terrific, particularly compared with my Belgian, that is non existent except for "Inspector Poirot" !

Yes, She Who Must Be Obeyed (Alexandra, daughter of, sister of two, granddaughter and niece of UK surveyors (Her grandfather negotiated the purchase of the Northern Ireland House of Parliament Lands)
I admit we have em here in Belgium too.

thanks for all the info

OK that does it.
Derek,
Let me know if you would like free help for a week sometime (I work for food, beer and shelter). That is if they will let me into Canada.
