Both the high school for which I serve on the School Board and the high school where my wife teaches are playing in the same tournament.?ÿ This evening it was her girls versus my girls.?ÿ Due to the pandemic very few fans are allowed to attend so it was being broadcast via Youtube.?ÿ She sat at her computer and I sat at mine about forty feet apart with the door shut between us.?ÿ At the end of the fourth quarter the score was tied.?ÿ Both teams only scored two points in the first overtime, so they had to play a second overtime.?ÿ With about 15 seconds to go my girls scored to go up by three points.?ÿ Her girls brought it down and attempted to drive the lane but got called for a charge ruining their plan to hit for two and get a free throw to tie things up again.?ÿ With four seconds left my girls got the ball, threw it in and listened for the final buzzer.?ÿ The bragging rights are MINE!
I promptly received a call from the other side of the door informing me I was to plan on sleeping on the couch tonight.
I can hardly wait for my co-worker to show up tomorrow morning.?ÿ His daughter is the main player for my school.?ÿ She was the one who properly stood her ground and took the charge, getting knocked on her tookus in the meantime.?ÿ I will need to keep Mrs. Cow and him separated because she is still teaching remotely from our living room.
The boys teams from our respective schools are playing at this time.?ÿ So far it has been a two point game almost the entire time.

Edit:?ÿ Forgot to mention that the daughter spent most of one Summer working for me surveying and has helped out at odd times since then.?ÿ She knows how to drive bars quite well.
Edit:?ÿ I just as well start heading towards the garage.?ÿ My boys beat her boys by 14 points and it wasn't really that close.?ÿ The big guy in the middle for her boys team has worked for me several Summers now, mowing four yards with one of those being about three acres.?ÿ His dad is on the school board so when he and I get together we can really talk shop, as they say.
