Early one morning before the last frost, Chotile, panicky, called her husband at work. "Boudreaux," she started, "I'm having a bad day! Kids missed da bus and I gotta pay da bills today but da windows is all froze! What de hell I'm supposed to do?"
Boudreaux answered calmly and patiently, "Chere you just pour some warm water on dat. You'll see. I know you in a hurry but jus' wait a lil bit and dem windows will be all unfroze like dat snapping his fingers."
A minute or so later, Chotile called back "Boudreaux!" she exclaimed. "Now da computer don't work at all! And it shocked Tee John when he tried to unplug it! Now what?"

I know someone named Clotile Boudreaux. She is a15 yr. old 8th grade and is very smart and one of the nicest persons that you will meet. She is 100% Cajun in looks and has a hint of the Cajun patois in her talk. Every summer twice a week, our soccer club does “Summer Soccer” for little kids. It is a very brief skills session then kids break into groups for fun ‘pick-up” games for the rest of the evening. It is run by the club’s director of coaching and he is aided by 4 older kids to run the program. We make it a very low cost program and the kids get a tee shirt also. The objective of the camp is for the kids to have fun playing in mixed ages. Kids are separated by age/skill groups but some are shifted to play against older players to test their skills and present challenges to them. It is sort of like playing against your bigger brother or sister. These encounters have proven to increase the skills of young players.
Clotile is one of the older kids who are camp counselors. She is great with the little ones and is a bright kid a in school and outstanding character. I don’t know how she deals with all the Clotile and Boudreaux jokes and the mascots of the N.O. Zephyr’s Triple A baseball team.
