Beerleg does it again
We were watching the 5:30 p.m. CBS News tonight. They began to show this same clip. I turned to Mrs. Cow and said, "Beerleg". She is frequently amazed at how much news I get while following this site.

Mrs Cow and all those other Mrs Cows' (not yours I probably should add otherwise there might be serious stuff happening!!) should know that we surveyors do have minds for other things besides back and foresights, pegs and hidden references, monuments, survey wagons etc.
After all life would be pretty boring if we only had nails in kerbs, stamped brass discs, and all that other non interesting stuff to lead us astray. 🙁
Yes this site is an amazing collection of extraneous information, spanning continents and high seas.
Beerleg does it again
I'll never forget the day I was killing time and checking in every few minutes in hopes at least one new post had been made during my short absence. Boom!!! Mr. Cox in New Zealand reported he was in the middle of an earthquake. The post said it was zero minutes old when I clicked on it. It was amazing to think how far away I was from that major event yet knew within a minute's time that it was happening.
That was great!
He "Bearly" made it... and did not like the "Qoalaty" of the service!
