Interesting. Scammers are multiplying faster than workers.....

I'm still somewhat amazed and skeptical that this can happen.?ÿ The buyer would have to be a cash buyer, as any simple title search would reveal the fraud.?ÿ And then, caveat emptor, if they didn't do their own due diligence and have a title search performed.

The fake seller set up?ÿ suitable ID to sell it using the correct owners name, so I can see it happening.?ÿ

Then he has to launder the money to his own name so he can buy something with it, without continuing the impersonation.

@jph Not really. He thought he was buying it from the right person, because the name was right.?ÿ
also, all the scammer would need would be to loose the money to other ƒ??scammersƒ? with accounts in another country.?ÿ
