I'm in quite a situation here. I'd love to see the Cards go all the way BUT the catcher for the Giants (Buster Posey) is from my home town and is quite a nice young man. There is no way I can pull against him so I guess I'll just have to sit on my hands. I WILL pull for the Tigers though.

Hey, me too!!! I had the wonderful opportunity to spend a lot of time this summer with the Giants farm team owners (The Volcanoes). They treated me like I was a part of the family!!! Course they razzed me every game when I wore my Cardinal T-shirt. They call me their "St. Louis Angel"...hehehe
I got to know these guys personally and have grown very close to them. They've bought me dinners, drinks, given me baseball cards, nuts, candy, private tours of the ball park, hung out with me for hours on end as we compared Cardinals VS. Giants notes, invited me to Giants spring training next year down in Arizona (with dinner!!), but most importantly, I got a life long friendship. It did not matter that I made a LOT less $$ than they do or that I was a Card fan; they still took me under their wing and love me just as I am. :-$
And I learned all about our young boys that started as Volcanoes and moved up to the Giants. Buster is one of them!!! Actually, there are quite a few of our boys on this years Giants team!!! And like I told them, "Angel has room in her heart for all of them, and both teams." :love:
I will always be a LOYAL Cards fan first and foremost...30 years now and counting. Of course I want my Redbirds to win it all, but I will be pleased with whoever wins this series and goes to the WS. 🙂
