A treat for the Californians here

I have recently been able to watch several of the Death Valley Days TV episodes. One last night featured Columbia, California and the story of Little Papeete. Apparently, this fire pumper was supposedly sold to Tahiti but they changed their minds and left it on the dock in San Francisco. That was a fortunate thing for the little gold rush town, Columbia, in 1859. Nice story.
