Just back from another Coober Pedy (29° 0'43.87"S 134°45'9.30"E)
surveying stint and this link will show you an incredible photo of a bird and frill neck lizard ....(scroll down page)

A double fatality!

The accompanying story says it all!

BTW Coober Pedy is 850ks from Adelaide and 8.5 hours minimum driving time.

Watched a couple of bull snakes in a fight once. Came back by the next day and both were dead. Like the pictures one swallowed the other head first, took in about a foot of the other. Bull snakes often fight, but that was the only time I saw something like that. Dangerous having a large mouth, unhinged jaws and without the brain to plan ahead.
