This is a book of short stories about the local Cowboys and their work written by one of the Cowboys. It is written kinda in the same format as the James Harriot (the Vet) books.

For those that were born and raised in the city, there are still people that drive a 3/4 or 1 ton truck with a gooseneck cattle trailer attached. Horse in the back and cow dogs either in the trailer or the bed of the truck. They hire out to any of the local Ranchers. They are Cowboys, it is an occupation not an image on Saturday night. It is their job. What do they do? Read the book. It's only 116 pages but there are a lot of good stories.
