You're exactly right. We sold a '73 ladder truck for $1,500. Scrapping the brass alone on that truck would have been more profitable, but state laws prohibit such things. No one wanted an old 110' ladder with a Detroit. Fought fire very well, but wouldn't bring much money. Way more valuable than the '53.
They couldn't be bothered to reel the redline back up where it looked proper!?!?!?!?
