You don't have to be crazy to do this, but it helps. Imagine traveling in a standard vehicle through the first 48 States, then flying to Alaska, then flying to Hawaii and doing it all in less that seven days.

Mrs. Cow and I saw the story on the evening news when a Joplin, MO TV crew interviewed these four adventurers when they entered Missouri. There were more than four people in the shot because they were joined by a local family at the Welcome to Missouri sign. Nate Williams was one of the four adventurers. His brother is married to a lovely lass from my county. The brother and his wife currently live in England, so her sister's family drove over to meet them as they have been at mutual family gatherings together numerous times. The sister's husband began working for me as a survey helper at age 15. Now he is an upper level administrator for a local city.

I start to get cranky and develop muscle problems after about two hours in an automobile. No way would I have lasted the first 24 hours of a journey such as this. Besides, they would have dumped out on the roadside somewhere shortly after the first time I fell asleep and the windows started rattling from my snoring.

CrazY, but in a fun way. I'd do it if I was younger! Course my problem would be that I'd want to stop and eat in every state. AND...once *I* got to Missouri, I wouldn't want to leave. B-)

You do realize there are two teams in Missouri and both happen to be on top of their respective divisions.
