....I thought I'd get it out there early given the labor market.?ÿ I'm going to be looking for a Project Manager in the Naperville/Aurora/Wheaton Illinois area Q1 or Q2 2023.?ÿ Licensed in Illinois required; if the candidate could add Indiana and Michigan to the mix, it would be even better.?ÿ Energy market experience would be a huge plus.
The workload would be almost exclusively projects related to electric and natural gas transmission/distribution, as well as renewable energy and EV charging infrastructure projects.?ÿ
PM me if you're thinking "Boy I'd sure like to work for that guy in a few months".?ÿ?ÿ
That sounds really interesting. Utility work is some of the best surveying work.?ÿ
Utility work is my bread and butter. There is a lot of federal money earmarked for expanding broadband access and the energy grid and we've never been busier. Last couple of years have been like drinking from a firehose.?ÿ
Sounds like SAM will be upset with you (in their back 'hood)...unless you went back to the dark side...
How much on your knees pounding nails into frozen ground and lath(stakes for the appropriate people ???? )too will this job have on a daily basis!?
Asking for a 'friend'...
@williwaw The reason I took this job was the chance to work in utilities markets.?ÿ Add that that a lot of the gas and electric distribution network was built in the post-war boom, is at its lifespan, and needs to be replaced
