Field Note Retention After Scanning

If a file is requested by our board, it has to be in physical form. I'm almost wanting to implement a PDF signing procedure so that the digital copy can hold muster if it is challenged to have been altered. There are no eraser marks left behind in Photoshop

When I last moved, eight years ago, I had to clear out five file drawers and six banker's boxes of jobs from 1972?ñ.

I kept a few oldies, but mostly trashed anything older than twenty years.

Just to be safe I made a copy of everything I threw out.
