In the United States, the third week of March recognizes and honors the work of land surveyors and their contributions to society. Throughout the week, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of surveying in land development, infrastructure planning, and mapping.
National Surveyors Week started in 1984 when President Ronald Reagan proclaimed the third week of March as \"National Surveyors Week\" to honor the contributions of professional surveyors to society.
