A Survey of One Hundred Stones
I will be presenting a case history of the Sweet Home Mine property near Alma, Colorado next Friday morning at the Professional Land Surveyors of Colorado’s 12th Annual Rocky Mountain Surveyors Summit. The conference is a hybrid event with live presentations next Wednesday through Saturday and virtual presentations the following week.
The presentation title is “A Survey of One Hundred Stones” and yeah, I know….but I actually did find 100 GLO stones during the survey. One issue arose with my talk, that being where to host several large PDF files containing my course materials. Wendell graciously offered to host the files on SurveyorConnect as an alternative repository of the materials. Thanks again, Wendell and Angel.
Below are two PDF files of my course materials that contain three high-resolution geologic maps of the Sweet Home Mine, a Lot Consolidation Plat, two Land Status Records, four mineral survey connected sheets, and ten mineral survey plats.
Next Thursday, I will upload two high-resolution PDF files of the PowerPoint slide presentation to this thread. Please feel free to download any of the materials. Should you decide to use any of the materials I only ask that you attribute the source.
I’d also appreciate any input, comments, feedback that folks may have. Thx.
