Coronado National Forest
Posted by smithsurveying on March 20, 2021 at 3:12 amI worked in the Coronado National Forest near Patagonia, AZ this week. The hike up the mountains were painful but well worth the view ???

Low chance of multipath at that spot.
Steep slopes are there so we can get to the top!
I hope everyone has a great day; I know I will!I used to take big steps to try and cover more ground when I was working in the mountains, and I think it worked in that regard but boy does one get winded quickly doing that. Later I switched to doing small steps like the low gear on a bicycle and I think that might be the sweet spot.
I like to take small steps too. It makes it easier to carry gear up. Either way it is better than surveying in a city IMO
Cameron Allan SmithYou would need to get me there by helicopter and a long tether. Going down is probably more treacherous than going up, but at least I would be breathing better as I rolled the first couple hundred feet.
Haha! I posted a video so you can see what it is like going down. I might try the rolling technique next time ???
