4.5 miles from here?
I took the Tennessee exam in Murfreesboro a few years ago. Welcome to the Board.
Andy
Welcome!
I took the TN state specific in Oct 2015. The old fashioned paper and pencil exam certainly took the entire two hours to complete. Hope the new computer based TN exam is manageable.
Good luck.

That looks like Quad Sheet 102…Mason Dixon 99. The quads are misnumbered.

I sat in on that very same test. It was on Halloween if I am not mistaken. I’m assuming that you’ve passed and are moving on in your career as a Tennessee surveyor?
As for the test, the old paper and pencil was a bear…luckily I passed the first time and haven’t had to be back. I hope too that the computer test is a little more time friendly; the old test took me the full two hours too by the time I revisited and checked over everything.
Michael – did you go to ETSU? and do you go to TAPS annually?
And welcome, RAWhite, from East Tennessee. I too am new to the forum.
I did pass it. I am also licensed in Georgia. Most work I do is in middle and north Georgia. I attended ABAC in Tifton GA and backed that up with Land Surveying classes at Middle GA State University in Cochran, GA (the program no longer exists).
Welcome from West Tennessee. Good luck on your exam! Come visit us at the TAPS Conference in March in Murfreesboro.
I took my TN exam back in the fall of 2000, so it has changed a lot since then.
Welcome from FL to your new information source. Y’all grow good tamaters and squash too! ?
Welcome from south-central Vermont! Good luck on your exam.
