The prices on these systems are coming down. This one has the look, and some of the insides, of a Trimble R10.

Good question. I don’t know the answer. But that feature has been available on the Trimble R10 for a while and it works.

From what I understand it may work like my drone. Which has a digital compass and IMU sensors. Which is recommended to perform a recalibration at every job site, due to the effects of Magnetic Fields.

I dont know how it works exactly either…some kind of compensator in it? but hard to get used to after 30 years of trying to hold a pole level.
