Anybody have a really nasty job?
Posted by MightyMoe on December 26, 2013 at 4:30 pmLike blue topping ten miles of really compacted road in the tropics, brushing line for miles in hawthorn, I need about two weeks of that to work of the Thanksgiving/Christmas food explosion. Every year I say I’m not going to do it and every year I end up bloated. :-@

I actually have a project in the Bahamas that requires the use of a hammer drill in order to set construction nails (not stakes)in the natural rock. Hardly any soft ground out there until you get to the beach. 😀

How about a 1.5 mile sewer route. Down a nasty rocky bottom creek that is flowing, cross sections every 25 foot and locate and tag all trees 4″ and greater. (probably 500 trees).
Oh and the banks of the creek are slippery muddy and are 6 foot high.
Needs to be done by the first of the year and has not been started yet.
Interested?

Nope. The Bahamas job sounds a hell of a lot better.:-P

How much do I have to pay you to help carry the rum bag…. um … nail bag ..

Well, if you start tomorrow and work through the weekend, that’s about 63 cross sections and 100 trees per day. Might want to put everybody on that one. Good luck!

There is only 2 of us.
Just got an extension of 2 weeks because the city did not have permission in writing from most land owners.
Talk about a lucky break.

which island in the Bahamas? I’m a bit familiar with some of the roadway layout on Green Turtle Cay, as viewed from a golf cart 🙂

Yeah, I have more work in the Wonderland, as I call it. See my avatar.
At least there isn’t 30 inches of White Wonder this year so far. But then, I’m not done either.
Scoop shovels Away!
(I just emerged from the stuff off the road, BTW………)
