About
Professional Land Surveyors of Oregon is the state’s principal association for licensed land surveyors, founded in 1959 and incorporated the following year. Its purpose is to unite licensed surveyors in Oregon around shared professional standards, legislative advocacy, and continuing education, with public welfare treated as a core priority alongside member interests.
The organization is structured around regional chapters covering the state: Pioneer in the Portland area, along with the Blue Mountain, Central, Midwest, Rogue River, South Central, Southwest, Umpqua, and Willamette chapters. PLSO maintains an online exam-study resource for licensure candidates and a page addressing common questions from property owners.
