New Mexico Professional Surveyors

New Mexico Professional Surveyors is the statewide association representing licensed land surveyors across New Mexico. It is organized around six regional chapters – Four Corners, Las Vegas, Llano Estacado, Middle Rio Grande, North Central, and Southern Rio Grande – that reflect the state’s dispersed geography.

NMPS describes its purpose as keeping the surveying profession respected through high ethical standards and ongoing education, and it is an affiliate of both the National Society of Professional Surveyors and the Western Federation of Professional Surveyors. The organization publishes the long-running member magazine Benchmarks, with archives going back decades, and maintains a jobs section and scholarship information for the next generation of New Mexico surveyors.
