New Jersey Society of Professional Land Surveyors

The New Jersey Society of Professional Land Surveyors is the statewide professional organization for New Jersey’s licensed land surveyors, along with survey technicians and other allied professionals in the field. The society focuses on maintaining professional standards, encouraging continuing education, and giving members a shared voice on state licensing and land-use issues affecting surveying practice.

A notable feature of NJSPLS is its formal apprenticeship program, aimed at bringing new survey technicians and future licensees into the profession. The society also maintains a searchable member directory and hosts social events, including an annual golf outing, alongside its advocacy and education work.
