Nevada Association of Land Surveyors

The Nevada Association of Land Surveyors was established on November 2, 1973, following preparatory work begun the year before by Walter Neitz. Since then NALS has built a full slate of member services, including a searchable surveyor-finder directory, a job board, scholarship and foundation programs, a Young Surveyors Network, and two publications, Nevada Traverse and NALS News.

The association is organized around two regional groups, the Lahontan Chapter and the Southern Nevada Chapter. Its signature event is a joint conference held with the California Land Surveyors Association, reflecting the close working relationship between the two states’ surveying communities.
