Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors

The Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors is the state’s primary professional association for licensed land surveyors. Organized in 1941 as the Michigan Society of Registered Land Surveyors, it adopted its current name in 1993 and has spent more than eight decades advocating for the surveying profession in Lansing and educating the public about the work surveyors do.

The society organizes continuing education, an annual conference, and regional chapter activity across the state, and it maintains ties to the National Society of Professional Surveyors.
