Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers

The Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers is a combined professional society representing both land surveyors and civil engineers in Massachusetts. It was formed on July 24, 1954 and incorporated as a nonprofit in 1960, with the stated aim of promoting the highest possible standards of professional practice in the public interest.

Membership is organized into four geographic chapters – Cape Cod, Central Massachusetts, Eastern Massachusetts, and Western Massachusetts – each with its own bylaws and officers, all hosted on the shared association website. MALSCE runs an annual convention with technical programming and an exhibit hall, offers a job board and a Find a Surveyor directory, and partners with the Engineering Center Education Trust, the Boston Society of Civil Engineers Section of ASCE, and ACEC Massachusetts.
