The Louisiana Society of Professional Surveyors is the state’s principal professional organization for licensed land surveyors. It maintains an online member directory the public can search by name or location, runs classified job listings for employers seeking surveying staff, and provides members with online account management.
Its flagship event is an annual convention combining technical programming with an exhibit hall for vendors; the 66th convention is scheduled for April 2027 in Lake Charles. LSPS publishes the quarterly newsletter L’Arpenteur Louisiane, whose French title nods to the state’s Francophone surveying heritage, and it is affiliated with the National Society of Professional Surveyors.
