Kentucky Association of Professional Surveyors

The Kentucky Association of Professional Surveyors is a voluntary nonprofit organization of professional land surveyors, surveyors-in-training, and others who support the surveying profession. Its stated purpose is to serve the public interest while promoting and advancing the practice of land surveying across the commonwealth.

KAPS maintains an online member directory and a chapter map reflecting a regional structure within the state. It publishes the Interior Angle newsletter, runs a job board for surveying positions, and holds an annual conference along with a plat-drawing contest; the 2026 conference is set for September in Somerset. The association is based in Louisville and hosts its own membership, events, and continuing education platform.
