Kansas Society of Land Surveyors

The Kansas Society of Land Surveyors is the state’s principal professional organization for licensed and aspiring land surveyors. Its stated purpose is to promote the common welfare of members practicing land surveying, encourage high ethical and professional standards, support study of surveying problems, and build public confidence in surveyors and their work.

KSLS offers membership categories for Kansas-licensed surveyors, out-of-state licensees, firms, associate and affiliate members, students, and sustaining supporters. It hosts an annual conference each October, runs an Emerging Leaders Program for younger surveyors and a golf tournament fundraiser, and maintains help-wanted and position-wanted job listings alongside a searchable member directory. The society also distributes the reference work Boundary Surveying in Kansas and is based in Topeka.
