Illinois Professional Land Surveyors Association

The Illinois Professional Land Surveyors Association is the state’s principal professional organization for licensed land surveyors, based in Springfield. Its mission centers on advancing the profession by promoting high standards of practice and conduct, upholding the Illinois Land Surveyors Act, and supporting members through continuing education, professional fellowship, and current technology.

IPLSA maintains local chapters around the state, including a Chicago chapter, and runs a Young Surveyors Network for newer professionals. It hosts an annual statewide conference for continuing education and networking, and maintains an affiliated foundation that funds scholarships for surveying students.
